What a wicked weekend!!
In practice I went out had a good look at the track I could tell the corners were going to berm up really nicely. The track was really fast and flowing.
In race 1 I was so surprised, I thought it was going to be hard against Ben and all the other Marlborough riders but I absolutely cleaned them up. But the Christchurch and Nelson riders beat me, I finished in 6th position.
Onto race 2, I got a useless start but fought back to 8th passing Isaac Godsiff on the last lap over a hill in midair. I tried to catch 6th but I was too far behind so I settled for 7th.
Race 3 it started to rain & was an awesome ride in the mud it was slippery just how I like it, I only just missed out on 4th by about three bike lengths. (more…)
